WHEN WE MEET AGAIN

If we've already started working together you will likely have reflections, "homework," or goals to report on when we come back together. 

Please take a moment to collect your thoughts before we meet as I will ask for your goals at the start of each session.

Our work will be more productive if you maintain commitment to your individual wellness throughout the work we do and if you choose to invest energy in shifting the relationship patterns you've created outside session as much as in each session.

OUR FIRST MEETING

To prepare for our meeting, spend a moment thinking about how you hope I can support your partnership. What change do you most hope to see?

Please be sure each member of your party fills out these forms and return them to me before we meet. Some of the questions are robust- please set aside at least 20 minutes to fully complete the forms.

I prefer to receive these materials at least 48-hours prior to our initial session to ensure I can be fully prepared to support you!

I also require payment 48 hours prior to initial sessions to reserve your appointment.

 

MINDSET FOR COACHING SUCCESS

I ask all clients who start this work to consider their mindset as a critical piece in the success of our coaching work.  Please review the learning agreements below as you prepare for relationship coaching.

 

I (coaching client) acknowledge that:

  • in the past some of my choices have negatively impacted those around me, including those I love, and myself,
  • there is a possibility I will repeat these past choices as patterns in the future,
  • change and growth are not linear processes,
  • I want to improve quality of life and reduce stress for myself and those I care for by changing my relationship patterns.
 

In order to deepen my awareness to grow and learn in this process I will:

  • give myself space to have fun, experiment, create and change my mind,
  • stay open to feedback and willing to learn from my partner, and others I care for,
  • offer consensual compassionate feedback to my partner and/or other participants,
  • offer feedback to my facilitator/coach if the process needs adjustment for my learning style,
  • examine my inner resistance and limiting beliefs, actions, and reactions and
  • ask for support, advice, encouragement, empathy, resources, and tools when I need,
  • pace myself as I work through tools and resources,
  • commit to completing planned personal work between meetings and after the event.
 

In order to create meaningful lasting change in my relationship patterns, I will:

  • pay attention to the choices I make and claim responsibility for them,
  • seek to understand the consequences of my choices (including those I didn’t intend),
  • not use the actions of others as excuses for my choices,
  • do all I can to repair negative impact done by my chosen actions or omissions,
  • explore the patterns of behavior that lead to my actions and omissions,
  • address and change unhealthy, out-of-balance, and/or harmful patterns,
  • practice self-compassion, giving myself permission to make mistakes as I shape new patterns,
  • extend this practice of compassion to my partner and understand they will make mistakes as they learn, grow, and shape new patterns. 
 

MEETING IN MY PORTLAND, OREGON OFFICE

If we're meeting in person we'll meet at my office 1920 N Killingsworth, Portland OR 97217, USA. Please note this is NOT NE Killingsworth.

The front door code is 0-2-9-1. Yes, it's the address backwards.  If you ever forget the address number is directly above the alarm panel to your right.  Maximum security, I know.

Please help yourself to tea in the lobby (the second room with chairs and magazines) while you wait for me to greet you at our scheduled time. Restrooms are in the room behind the lobby on the left or at the top of the stairs.

There is ample parking outside, the MAX transit system has a drop off four blocks away and there is a bus line 72 drops off three doors away. 

If you are a cyclist please feel free to lock our bike on the porch (quietly) to keep it out of the rain.  


HOW TO PREPARE FOR MEETINGS

  • Please take care of your body to support this work. This means creating solid self-care practices that support your rest, exercise, consumption and hydration.  Feel free to bring water or tea to session (both are available in the lobby). 
  • I have tissues available in my office.  Many clients like to bring a notebook or journal to collect their thoughts.  I support whatever method best aligns with your learning style.
  • If you need to eat before we meet, there are two restaurants next door to my office if you feel you need to eat to best prepare for session. Atomic PizzaLucky Lab, Milk Glass Market, and Backyard Social have been recommended by many clients of mine since I moved to this location. There is also a New Seasons Grocery Store nearby and a Plaid Pantry with snacks and beverages. The closest coffee shop is Arbor Lodge Coffee or Blend Coffee
  • Please fill out the new client forms at least 24 hours before our initial session.  Be sure you fill out one form for each member of your party.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

I have tissues, writing utensils, and paper in my office for note taking but many clients find it helpful to bring a notebook or journal of their own to collect their thoughts. I welcome the tools that best support your learning style.  


SCHEDULING CONTINUED SESSIONS

Whenever possible I ask clients to commit to a recurring appointment.  This helps you create practices that support your personal work outside session with regularity. 

If you need to contact me to reschedule please text 971-302-2826.  I 'd rather not receive personal information via text, but it is my preferred means of communication for scheduling.

BETWEEN SESSION SUPPORT:

I am available by text (971-302-8286) and email gina@ginasenarighi.com between sessions based on availability.  I am typically with clients during weekday afternoon and evening hours and will do my best to return calls and texts within one business day.

Clients enrolled in monthly coaching subscriptions have weekly office hour access to call me directly for continued support between sessions.  Please arrange your office hours calls via text or email gina@ginasenarighi.com.

Clients paying per-session are charged for between-session support.  Full phone sessions are available between sessions should the need arise. Calls made between the scheduled sessions are based on availability.  

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

If you are running late please let me know via text at 971-302-8286.  I will reach out to you, and will wait for 15 minutes for our call.  If I haven't heard from you at that time I will charge for the missed session.

SETTING UP ONLINE SESSIONS

Please be sure you're calling from a quiet distraction-free space with reliable internet connectivity. Enable both the camera and microphone on your device before the call.

For your safety, I will not host a call with you if you are driving.

 

ZOOM

Register for Zoom for our video calls. This program protects your privacy and allows better connection than most others for our meetings.

FACETIME IS OUR BACKUP

I use FaceTime as a back-up if we are unable to connect over Zoom for some reason.  If you are new to FaceTime please review this tutorial before our meeting and add me as a contact by searching for my name or email (Gina Senarighi or gina@ginasenarighi.com). 

 

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK...

If we are unable to connect via FaceTime or Zoom we will use our phones as a back-up plan. Please add 971-302-8286 to your contacts.


SCHEDULING CONTINUED SESSIONS

Whenever possible I ask clients to commit to a recurring appointment.  This helps you create practices that support your personal work outside session with regularity.   I use this tool to convert time zones easily when planning with clients outside the Pacific Standard Timezone (PST).

  • Set aside time to meet me in a distraction-free environment.  Please note: I will not meet with you while driving for your safety.
  • Please take care of your body to support this work. This means creating solid self-care practices that support your rest, exercise, consumption and hydration.  Do eat before session.  I recommend choosing a comfy spot (you'll be with me for 50-90 minutes) with water or tea and tissues handy.  
  • I highly recommend bringing a notebook or journal to session to collect your thoughts. I welcome the tools that best support your learning style.  
  • Many of my clients have needed tissues while talking.  Keep a couple handy just in case. :)
  • I require payment prior to online sessions.  Please submit yours here.  I will collect your credit card information when we meet for future billing.
  • Check out Zoom for our video calls. This program protects your privacy and allows better connection than most others for our meetings. You can watch tutorials about this program here to prepare for our session if you are new to online video meetings.
 

 

PAYMENT

Clients pay for sessions in two ways: per-session or per month.

PER-SESSION PAYMENTS

 

If you prefer to pay for each meeting, please submit payment for your initial session at least 48 hours prior to our initial meeting. 

This option does not include support outside the session hour, instead, between session support is pro-rated at my hourly rate.

When we meet I'll collect your credit card information for future billing.  

Please note this option is typically more expensive and is better for very short-term work. 

It is also essential you commit time to this work even if we've only scheduled one session.  Sustainable change in relationship patterns relies on sustainable commitment to this work.

Sessions are $225 per 75-90 minute session, $175 per 50 minute session.

90-DAY COACHING PACKAGE

 

Clients who commit 90-days of coaching support usually pay with a monthly subscription

All package clients have access to my full relationship resource library and between session email and office hour call support if needed.

SOLO CLIENTS

Solo client plans include four 50-minute sessions and office hour sessions (optional).  This package is $499/month.

COUPLES SESSIONS

The 90-day package for couples includes three 75-90 minute couples calls per month and office hour sessions (optional).  This package is $599/month.

REDUCED RATE SESSIONS

I reserve a small number of reduced rate sessions for clients who experiencing financial hardship.  Reduced rates are only available for one 90-day period per client or relationship.  Due to high demand I have an application and often a waitlist for these sessions. 

Please fill out the information on this form if you would like to be considered for reduced rate sessions.  If affording sessions is a challenge for you, I recommend considering the mastery classes I offer or my online resources for relationship support.  

All reduced rate sessions are held online during between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM PST Tuesday-Thursday.

STEP TWO - CONTRACT & AGREEMENTS

Read through my coaching contract to understand the boundaries of our working relationship. Then add your information and date below to agree to your contract.

 

COMMITMENT

Everyone wants change, but not everyone is willing to change. Your willingness is the foundation of this work. By entering this coaching partnership, you acknowledge you want to make significant progress to grow. You are be prepared to take action toward building a successful personal growth practice outside of sessions in addition to attending sessions.

Coaching is for individuals who are emotionally and psychologically healthy who want to make meaningful changes and move forward in their lives. Coaching is not a substitute for medical or legal advice, or psychotherapy.

BOUNDARIES

Coaching is a process that facilitates personal, professional and spiritual development. Our coaching relationship will be co- created. Though this partnership will be friendly, warm and trustworthy it will remain a professional working relationship drawing upon the coach’s professional training and expertise in the field of human relationships.

I deeply care for every client I work with, but the care I provide is strictly professional.  As your coach and/or sexuality counselor I follow the professional ethics codes of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

CONFIDENTIALITY

The coaching relationship is built on trust. Your story will be held with utmost respect and care.  All information exchanged in session will be held in strict confidentiality. However, confidentiality may be broken if harm to any individual is reported during coaching sessions.

Please note that no online or technology-based communication is completely confidential.

SCHEDULING

I respect your time and our shared time invested in this work. Therefore we commit to start and finish each session on time. If you’re late to session, the missed time will be counted as time spent. If you’re more than 10 minutes late for session, and I haven’t heard from you, I’ll assume the session is cancelled and charge the missed appointment fee.

Rescheduling:

Rescheduling a coaching session is easily done with appropriate notice. Please allow for at least 48 hours notice to appointment changes.

Cancellation:

If you need to cancel an appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice. If you’re unable to provide at least 48 hours time when cancelling an appointment, fees for that missed session will be charged. In cases of inclement weather or unexpected travel we will meet online or by phone to replace our in-person meeting.

Between Session Support:

Clients enrolled in monthly coaching subscriptions have weekly office hour access to call me directly for continued support between sessions.  Please arrange your office hours calls via email with gina@ginasenarighi.com.

Continuity:

Once you’ve started work with me you are always welcome to step away from the work and return as needed.  When you return after a gap of eight weeks or more I ask you to renew your client file and begin again as a new client to update our goals and renew our plan.

Payment:

Client credit card information is stored in a secure server to ease payment processing.   Initial session fees are charged when scheduling the initial session.

Clients enroll in either monthly subscription payments or pay-per-session.  Monthly subscriptions are billed the first business day of each month.  Per-session payments are billed within 48-hours of the appointment.

CONSENT FOR COACHING

I understand that the services provided to me by Gina Senarighi are not to be construed as, or a replacement for, psychotherapy, legal counsel, or medical advice.

I understand that I’m responsible for my own decisions and results and agree not to hold Gina Senarighi or any company she is affiliated with, liable for any outcomes resulting directly or in directly from the coaching process.
